Russkaja

Since 2005, the band Russkaja is the »terror of terrors«, as they describe themselves, playing Russian traditional folklore and ethnical musical traditions in postmodern style, always toying, mocking and parading.
Their stage performance is a sweaty dance hustle with trash metal funk jazz with seven band members and vocals by Georgi Makazarie, which is similar to some kind of Zappa rock pirouettes. And if the festival Pivo in cvetje already has the Slovenian Pivo in čevapi and the French Attentat Fanfare, this Russian-Austrian combination will also be a nice addition. This band might remind local music fans of the Slovenian party band Agropop.
