CoraViento

CoraViento is a singing and dancing group that performs flamenco with modern moves and sounds. The dancers and musicians of the group are inspired by a combination of traditional and modern music. By creating a special art of flamenco they do not just simply copy this national tradition, this is also their way of expressing the world we live in.

Modern dance moves give this performance a new meaning and untypical instruments give flamenco a fresh sound. At the festival, the female dancers of CoraViento will perform together with the Spanish musician Juanito Makandé and his group, which is a guarantee for a fiery, energetic and fun performance with wild rhythms and catchy melodies that will please music and dance fans. CoraViento members are dancers Urška Centa, Manca Dolenc, Mihaela Wabra Kucler, Simona Šturm, Urška Ivanuša, and musicians Izidor Erazem Grafenauer (guitar), Vasja Štukelj (cajón), Uroš Jezdić (accordion).
