Katrina Ex Katrina & The Waves

Katrina Leskanich from the Grammy nominated band Katrina and the Waves had their first big hit ‘Walking on Sunshine’ in 1985 and 30 years on, it is still a summer anthem all around the world. Katrina was born in the USA but and moved to England in 1976 where she currently lives.

Together with her band The Waves, she won the Eurovision Song Contest for Great Britain in 1997. Soon after that, she started her solo career and this year she released her new album Blisland with the hit single Sun Coming Upper, which you can download for free on her website. Now she is on tour with her band, starting with a series of concerts across the USA and continuing in Europe where she will also stop in Laško.
