Klapa Maslina

Everyone who has been to the Mediterranean Sea must surely also remember the folk vocal bands from the Croatian Dalmatia – and Klapa Maslina is among the best of them. They have been performing for over twenty-five years and they have been as solid as the olive tree that gave them their name.

They perform traditional Dalmatian polyphonic songs and their own modern songs. Arsen Dedić, who also wrote a few songs for them, said:“… Klapa Maslina is a legitimate heir of all traditional singing in Šibenik – from pubs and taverns to the biggest concert halls…” On the Jubilejnik stage, you can also hear the popular band member Branko Bubica, who is known as the most beautiful Croatian tenor, singing hits like Da te mogu pismom zvati, Maslina je neobrana, Šibenska balada, Ostala si ista, and their new single Korak po korak that was released this March and is the first song of the upcoming new album.
