Šank Rock

After the last year’s exclusive performance at the festival Pivo in cvetje, Šank rock decided to do a “restart”, because they were accepted so warmly by their fans. With a few concerts and performances since last year, the band members Matjaž Jelen (vocals), Bor Zuljan (guitar), Cveto Polak (bass), Roman Ratej (drums) and Sašo Gačnik (keyboards) announced that they were back.

They said: “To our older fans, we are nostalgic, because we remind them of their youth, and to our younger fans, we are interesting, because we play different music than modern rock bands.” One of the most famous Slovenian rock bands that in the years between 1982 and 2011 recorded fourteen studio albums and produced numerous unforgettable hits like Pravljica o mavričnihljudeh, Metulj, Jaz nimam noč za spanje, Hitro drugam, Ker te ljubim, Vzemi ali pusti, Delam, kar paše mi, Dej se mal nasmej, and also their new song Restart…
